Forest Hills is a premier community in West Michigan, including nearly all of Ada Township and much of Cascade Township. Along with East Grand Rapids, Forest Hills is considered one of the best suburbs of Grand Rapids. Ada Township, named after the daughter of the area’s first postmaster, has a population of around 14,000, and is home to corporate giants Alticor, Quixtar and Amway. The intention of this planned redesign is to take full advantage of Ada’s natural assets, create a focal point for community gatherings, improve walkability, and provide a healthy mix of residential and commercial uses.
